About Susan K. Jones, N. Lee Ball

Susan K. Jones and N. Lee Ball are the proud artists behind the creation of Mookey and Wi-Fi Cowspot, sponsored by UNC Health Care Volunteer Association and Wells Fargo for CowParade North Carolina.” align=

Susan Jones returned to college in 1996 to study art at Meredith College. In 2002, she graduated from NCSU College of Design with her Masters. She has studied photography at the Center for Documentary Studies at Duke University and received her certification in Botanical Illustration in 2011 from UNC.

Jones currently teaches digital photography for the Town of Cary in the summer, works as a seasonal tax account in the winter and pursues her art year round. She’s lived in Raleigh since 1993 and is very involved in the art community, donating time and art to groups throughout Raleigh. She serves on the Board of the Visual Art Exchange as the Treasurer and is a founding member of Tipping Paint Artists.

A North Carolina native, N. Lee Ball was born in Raleigh and raised in Johnston County. Lee studied architecture at North Carolina State University School of Design, painting and sculpture at Meredith College and taught visual art at Athens Drive High School for 10 years. She has a passion for theatre, museums, and travel, but loves her hometown of Raleigh/Cary.
