Artist Description of Cow

One side of this cow is loosely based on a vintage postcard, which includes the North Carolina state flag, bird (the cardinal) and flower (the dogwood). The other side is a map of North Carolina that indicates various landmarks, sites and activities from around the state where we were both born, raised and continue to call home.

Herd & Location

There was a street fair going on the day we hunted this one down and went right past it. If you are using the app, the address listed, 121 Fayetteville, is WRONG (that is where Carolina Cowlage and Moonhay are). This cow is a couple blocks down just south of Davis street (his location is shown correctly on the map you can print from the website). This one is very well done and truly is a nice homage to the postcard many of us have seen.

Thanks for alerting us about the error, Julie! We’ll make sure the location is corrected as appropriate online and in the mobile apps.
