June 9, 2011: Press Conference and Call to Artists

Ongoing through July 2012: Sponsorship Sales

Mid – Late May 2012: First cows arrive in NC and out to artists

Mid – Late June 2012: 2nd order of cows arrive in NC and out to artists

Early – Mid August: Cows return from artists

August 18, 2012: CowParade NC Round Up at Golden Belt in Durham, the official kick-off of the three-month public exhibition phase of CowParade North Carolina 2012. Download your invitation!

August 19-21, 2012: Stampede! Artist-rendered cows are “put out to pasture” at their predetermined parade locations throughout the greater Triangle.

August 19 through December 7, 2012: Cows on Parade! Visit the cows on location during the public exhibition phase of CowParade North Carolina 2012. You’ll find herds in Raleigh, Durham and Chapel Hill, as well as “cows in outlying pastures.” Download the herd map in PDF. February 2, 2013: “Battle for the Cattle,” CowParade North Carolina 2012 Gala Auction! The best of the best of the exhibition’s cows go to live public auction at a gala event at Raleigh Memorial Auditorium in the Progress Energy Center in downtown Raleigh, with proceeds benefiting N.C. Children’s Hospital. Clothing designer, Alexander Julian, and his wife, Meagan, are our honorary chairs.

February 2013: Online Auction! The remainder of the exhibition’s cows will be up for bid via an online auction one week after the “Battle for Cattle” Gala Auction.
